What makes us, us

What sets Sunrise Bakery apart

01

Our Daily Rhythm

Our day starts before the sun comes up. We mix, knead, and prove our doughs through the night so that when our doors open at 7 AM, you're greeted with the aroma of truly fresh bread straight from our stone-deck ovens.

02

The Best Italian Ingredients

We believe great bread starts with great flour. Sunrise Bakery sources stone-ground, organic flour from regional Italian mills and hand-selects our butter, eggs, and fruit from local producers to ensure authentic flavor in every bite.

03

Traditional Baking Techniques

From our 72-hour fermented sourdough to our hand-laminated cornetti, we don't take shortcuts. Our bakers use time-honored European techniques to develop deep, complex flavors and the perfect texture in every loaf and pastry.

FAQ

Questions

What time does the freshest bread come out of the oven?
Our first loaves, typically sourdough and baguettes, are ready right when we open at 7:00 AM. Pastries like cornetti are also baked just before opening to ensure maximum freshness.

Can I place a special order for a large quantity of bread or pastries?
Yes, we accept special orders for events and gatherings. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance by visiting our shop at Via Roma 12 to discuss your needs.
Do you sell day-old bread?
Yes, we offer a limited selection of day-old breads at a discount each afternoon. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis and sell out quickly.
Where do you source your flour?
We primarily use stone-ground organic flour sourced from small family-owned mills in Piedmont and Lombardy. We believe their quality is essential for the authentic taste of our products.
